Reforço da Língua Portuguesa
Fun activities that help students learn the Portuguese language.
Ler por Prazer
Aligned with our academic program, this activity highly encourages students to read for pleasure. Please note that the activity will happen in Portuguese.
Art Club
Art Club gives students the opportunity to learn and apply basic art techniques and process. We will explore a variety of materials including but not limited to chalk, oil pastels, clay, and basic drawing, paint and collage materials.
Eco Club
The Eco Club will be exploring nature and learning about native plants and animals through outdoor activities around the ISC campus. Students will be doing gardening and conservation work to make our school greener. They will learn about the importance of protecting our natural environment through hands on activities.
Kids Mind Project – Level 1
Thinking outside the box by playing with brain games, developing self-awareness using mindfulness, deepening critical view in storytelling and overcoming linear logic through exercising reasonable thinking are the targets of this the Kids Mind Project. This activity also focuses on the broadening of students aptitudes and interests.
LEGO Serious Play
Lego Serious Play is a program to help students plan, collaborate and problem solve with peers. Students will learn to work together to create projects, using the engineering process along the way. We will concentrate on improving our ability to focus and communicate to solve problems. Parents: this is not a free play session! Students will be expected to complete tasks cooperatively.
Earth Rangers
This club is for students who want to be Green Leaders at ISC. The students will help ISC become a greener school by doing special projects that help protect nature. Students will explore nature at ISC and teach others how we can take better care of our planet. All Elementary students may sign up for this activity but there will be a selection process afterwards. There is a limit of three students from each grade level who will be selected by a committee to join the club.
Science Club
This club will make science engaging for Elementary students through hands-on experiments. We will pick projects together, set up the experiment, and then talk about the results we see. We will work on a different project every week.
ES Running Club
A club to help children add more activity to their day and develop a lifetime love for running and a healthy lifestyle.
Futsal Sub 9
Elementary Futsal practice for students up to 9 years old. The student’s year of birth must be up to Aug 1, 2010.
Futsal Sub 7
Elementary Futsal practice for students up to 7 years old. The student’s year of birth must be up to Aug 1, 2012.
Robotics
Students will work on two projects during the semester. The main one is a soccer robot and the second one is still TBD. By the end of classes, they will take their projects home.

Gymnastics
At the Gymnastics classes, students work with hand equipment, ropes, bows, and tapes in addition to body movement and acrobatic elements.
