Math Support

Fun activities and exercises that help students learn Math.

Art Club

Art Club is open for first, second and third grade students and gives them the opportunity to learn and apply basic art techniques and process. We will explore a variety of materials including but not limited to chalk, oil pastels, clay, and basic drawing, paint and collage materials.

Drama

The kids will be a part of dramatic plays and activities.

Kids Mind Project

Thinking outside the box by playing with brain games, developing self awareness using mindfulness, deepening critical view in storytelling and overcoming linear logic through exercising reasonable thinking are the targets of this the Kids Mind Project. This activity also focuses on the broadening of students aptitudes and interests.

Elementary Chess

Student will learn basics strategies and advanced chess moves.

Wildcat Ambassador

Wildcat Ambassadors gives students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and various projects. The ambassadors are in charge of planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare.

Elementary School Choir

The goal is to have Elementary School choir rehearsals in order to perform at major ISC events and activities.

Eco Club

The Eco Club will be exploring nature and learning about native plants and animals through outdoor activities around the ISC campus. Students will be doing gardening and conservation work to make our school greener. They will learn about the importance of protecting our natural environment through hands on activities.

Cooking Class

Cooking class to educate kids from a young age about the importance of cooking and to give them the lifelong skills to prepare healthy, nutritious meals.

Science Club

This club will make science engaging for elementary students through hands-on experiments. We will pick projects together, set up the experiment, and then talk about the results we see. 

Earth Rangers

This club is for students who want to be Green Leaders at ISC. The students will help ISC become a greener school by doing special projects that help protect nature. Students will explore nature at ISC and teach others how we can take better care of our planet. All Elementary students may sign up for this activity but there will be a selection process afterwards. There is a limit of three students from each grade level who will be selected by a committee to join the club.

Sign Language

Sign Language (SL) is a natural language that serves as the predominant sign language of deaf communities. SL uses manual communication to convey meaning. This may include the simultaneous use of hand gestures, movement, orientation of the fingers, arms or body, and facial expressions to convey the ideas of an interlocutor.

Elementary Futsal practice for students up to 9 years old. The student’s year of birth must be up to Aug 1, 2009.

Futsal Sub 11

Elementary Futsal practice for students up to 11 years old. The student’s year of birth must be up to Aug 1, 2007.

Fee Based Activities

Robotics

Students will work on two projects during the semester. The main one is a soccer robot and the second one is still TBD. By the end of classes, students will take their projects home.

Gymnastics Team

At the Gymnastics classes, students work with hand equipment, ropes, bows, tapes in addition to body movement and acrobatic elements.

Judo

Judo classes for children. Supply needed: full kimono and flip-flops.

Hapkido

Korean martial art focused on self-defense.

Capoeira

Movements and techniques of the Capoeira game.

Violin

Collective teaching strings. Musicalization through practice instrumental and orchestral training with the violin.

Jazz

Jazz Dance classes involve a diversity of movements and rhythms, looking for technique, social, emotional and cognitive development of students.

Vocal Lessons

Singing lessons and vocal training for kids ages 7 and up. Covers key elements of vocal instruction, from warm-up exercises and breath control to high-range technique, harmonies and more.

Acoustic Guitar
