Dear ISC Parents,

The ISC Academy uses Schoolsbuddy for all ISC sponsored clubs and sports.  With Schoolsbuddy, parents are able to easily register and manage all of their child’s after-school activities. If you already created an account but cannot remember your password, please reset your password by selecting “Forgotten Password” on the account log-in page.  If you are new to ISC, a “SchoolsBuddy” invite will be sent via email so you can set-up your new account.

Below are the lists of the possible ISC Academy Activities scheduled to begin on Monday, February 18, 2019

Priority Registration:  February 1 – 8, 2019.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Priority registration is from February 1 – 8, 2019
  • To ensure safety and quality, there is a minimum and maximum number of students per activity.
  • Once the maximum number of participants is reached any additional registrants will be placed on a waiting list.
  • If the minimum enrollment is not met, the activity will be canceled for the semester and parents will be notified immediately.
  • Regular attendance is expected.
  • If, for any reason, a student  cannot stay for an after-school activity in which they are enrolled, please send a note to the activity teacher. If no note is provided, it will be considered an unexcused absence.
  • If a student accumulates 3 unexcused absences in a semester, he/she will forfeit their opportunity to participate in that activity for the remainder of the semester.  
  • Siblings or friends not signed up for the activity may NOT attend. They must register for another available activity or be picked up to go home.
  • The outsourced activities payment must be done directly with the activity sponsor.****

In case of rain:  Outdoor activities will be held in the Learning Center or in a classroom.  ****Students will be provided alternative activities.

  • Students must follow activity guidelines and participate actively.
  • 1st and 2nd grade students will be taken by their homeroom teachers to the Elementary Covered Area and will be supervised by recreational assistants from 3:30pm to 3:45pm. At 4:45pm, all 1st and 2nd grade students will be handed to the recreational assistant at the Elementary Covered Area by their After-School teacher. Parents and van drivers must pick up 1st and 2nd graders from the Elementary Covered Area until 4:55pm. At 4:55pm, remaining students will be taken to the dismissal area and supervised by school guards.
  • 3rd to 5th grade students will wait in the Elementary Covered Area from 3:30pm to 3:45pm to be picked up by After-School activity teacher. Students will be released at 4:45pm and go directly to the dismissal area.
  • All outsourced activities payment must be done directly with the activity sponsor.

  • ****In all soccer activities shin guards are mandatory and cleats are not allowed.
  • Any behavior issues will be reported via Jupiter Grades. After 3 warnings, he/she will forfeit their opportunity to participate in that activity for the remainder of the semester.
  • Futsal will have matches on Saturdays – if called to the game,  your child is expected to go or communicate their absence to the coach at least one practice prior to the game.
  • Due to the competitive nature of the futsal leagues, not all children are guaranteed the same amount of playing time.
  • Selection of players to each game and the amount of time played is at coaches discretion. Coaches will give priority to players that are attending practices two times a week and have 100% attendance to practices.  
  • Player expectations will be clearly communicated to the players by their coaches.

  • Students who do not uphold the ISC’s  will forfeit their opportunity to participate in that activity for the remainder of the semester.

  • Please note that some MS/HS clubs are based on elected representatives.
