Math Support

Anyone wishing to get some help can come along to Math Support, whenever they need to.

Learning Lab Support

Learning Lab is an opportunity for students to receive academic support in a number of subject areas. Learning Lab is replacing our after school specific subject learning support. Students are welcome to sign up in advance or can drop in as needed (please note, there will be a separate Math Support session available as well).

Middle School Choir

The goal is to have Middle School choir rehearsals in order to perform at major ISC events and also to prepare students the “AMIS MS Honor Choir Festival.

Drama – Visual Arts

Students will learn to use a variety of drawing and painting techniques.

Knowledge Bowl

Knowledge Bowl is an interdisciplinary academic quiz team that participates in competitions in Brazil.

STUCO

The purpose of STUCO is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body.

Global Issues Network (GIN)

The Global Issues Network’s mission is to empower Middle and High School students to collaborate locally, regionally, and globally in order to create project based sustainable solutions for our shared global issues.

Model United Nations

Model United Nations, also known as MUN, is a club which students typically role-play delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees.

Sapiens Academy

Sapiens Academy is a group of students focused on the study of diverse social issues, with practical experiences and analysis from Philosophy and Sociology.

Spirit Club

Do you like gymnastics? Do you like cheering on your school and building school spirit? Do you look awesome in blue and gold? If you’ve said yes to any of the above, then we want you! Come join Spirit Club, where we’ll learn to incorporate flexibility, strength, and school spirit into cheers, dances, and events to support our student body.

BARC

BARC works with an animal shelter to support in providing food, and structure to dogs and cats.

3D Printing Club

This club will introduce students to the world of 3D printing. We will introduce students to Tinkercad software for design, and allow them to 3D print their own designs. Additionally, we will have them design and prototype designs for groups in the school.

Google Science Fair

Students learn how to participate in the Google Science Fairs, helping to develop a culture of science fair competitions, which would help students in their more challenging college applications.

Science Lab Tech

This club intends to promote hands-on activities to introduce middle schoolers to laboratory practices and scientific debates and controversies. It focuses on hands-on lab activities on one quarter and mediated debates around scientific controversies on another quarter.

Clube de Leitura

A text of a different genre or media will be read as a whole group each session. Texts may be suggested by any of the club members. The mediator will facilitate discussion and critiques, enhancing the group’s literary experiences.

Creative Reading

This class intends to promote the reading of literary and art works. Students will read the works and be asked to come up with their own creative responses to it.

Happy Code – Programming Games
